William "Bill" Harry Sprenkle, 74, of York, entered into heaven on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, with his daughters by his side.
He was born April 26, 1951, in Hanover, PA, to the late Donald "Bud" and Mildred "Millie" (Druck) Sprenkle. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Sprenkle. He is survived by his daughter, Alicia Miller & husband Derek, and his daughter, Katie Weaver & husband Charles; Seven grandchildren, Trenton, Elise, Sophia, Steven, Aubrey, Ashton, and Landon, and his nephew, Jason Gross.
Bill graduated from York County School of Technology (Then York County Vocational-Technical School) in 1970. Bill was a hard worker and worked in various industries, including automotive, farming, regional, and dedicated trucking. His last employer before retirement was Conewago Enterprises, Inc. in Hanover, where he was a Class A CDL Driver.
Bill was talkative and easily made friends wherever he went. He participated in a daily men's coffee group and looked forward to that every day. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved all types of music and dancing. Bill had a passion for cars, trucks, and driving. He liked antique cars and attended many car shows. He also enjoyed taking "Sunday" drives, sometimes with or sometimes without a destination in mind. Bill spent quality time with his daughters and family; he enjoyed being with those he loved. Bill found peace in GOD's creation and made sure to spend time in nature each day he was able.
A memorial service and luncheon will be held at Church of the Open Door (COD) East on Saturday, March 7th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. COD East is located at 4075 E. Market Street, East York, PA 17402.
