Wayne Dill

On Friday, June 27, 2025, Wayne L. Dill, 80, of York, passed away peacefully at Dallastown Nursing Center. He was the loving husband to Donna J. (Miller) Dill for 43 years. Wayne was born on February 3, 1945, in Hanover, PA, to the late Warren and Salome (Senft) Dill. After graduating from Susquehannock High School in 1963, he worked for AMP, Inc. for many years until he retired. Wayne was a member of the Prince Athletic Association in York; an original member of the York County Racing Club; a member of the South End Democratic Club; a member of the 9th Ward in York; and former Volunteer for the Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company. In his younger years, Wayne enjoyed stock car racing, golfing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; one daughter, Julie Crump and husband Brian; two step-children, Pamela DeRolf and Steven Alwine; six grandchildren, Ashton and Taylor Crump, Jeremy Simmons, David DeRolf, Jr., Ashley Bosserman and Alexander Alwine; and two great-grandchildren, Elijah Bosserman and Zander Alwine.

Services are private at the request of the family.
