Virginia Feaster

Virginia E. Feaster Mifflintown Virginia E. (Mann) Feaster, 92, of Brookline Manor, Mifflintown, died Tuesday June 17, 2014 at the Lewistown Hospital. Following cremation a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock PA is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Feaster was born on August 15, 1921 in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late John and Emma (Werner) Mann. She graduated from Juniata Joint High School in 1942 and had worked as a seamstress for many years, having been employed by, Arrow Shirt Factory, Lewistown, Juniata Garment, Mifflin, Rae-Sel Factory, Port Royal, Scotty’s Fashions, Lewistown, American Viscose Corp, and the Malta Home, Grandville, PA. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Mifflintown, the International Garment Workers Union, Crawford-Brubaker VFW Post 5863 Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 298 Ladies Auxiliary, both of Mifflintown. She leaves a daughter, Bonnie L. Johnson of New Park, PA; two grandchildren, Sherry Luckenbaugh and her husband Joe, and Charles Potter; and two Great-grandchildren, Nathan Luckenbaugh and Renae Luckenbaugh. She was preceded in death by a sister Mary Schmidt and a brother John Mann, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 3 South Third St, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
