Violet (Hamlett) Husketh went to be with the Lord August 4th in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania. Born July 17, 1930 to Dock and Pearlie Hamlett, she is survived by her daughters, Teresa Witt (Herb), Beatrice Meeks, Vickie Forsythe, Lottie Gates, and Lydia Glaze (Joe); 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Violet was preceded in death by her husband, JB Husketh; daughter, Mary Carr; grandsons, Jason, Ricky, Brandon, and Earl; siblings, David, Jimmy, Alvin, Jackie, Bennie, and Ralph. A memorial service will be held at the First Love Community Church, 512 Hwy 70 East, Hillsborough, North Carolina on Saturday, August 13 at 4PM with Pastor Greg Long and Manley Palmer officiating.
