Victor G. Yawman

Victor Yawman passed away January 26, 2026, at Misericordia Nursing Center at the age of 97. He was predeceased in 2025 by his wife of 71 years, Geraldine Yawman, and is survived by his sons Gregory (Donna), Thomas (Deborah) and William, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Victor was born in Rochester, New York, to Victor G. Yawman, Sr., and Delene Pilon Yawman. He attended Aquinas Institute where he starred in football as a quarterback and safety. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1950 with a degree in business administration and worked in both accounting and sales. Victor and Gerri relocated to York in 2005.

Victor cherished his family, and he remarked that some of his fondest memories were the Yawman Family Reunion in 1996 and Gerri's 95th birthday party, attended by their entire family.
