Treva M. (Krebs) Richey, 90, of Codorus, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at York Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Harold E. Richey. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, June 16, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6 York St., Codorus with her interim pastor Rev. Paul A. Haack, officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery, Glenville. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Monday at the church. Mrs. Richey was born January 10, 1924 in Codorus Township, a daughter of the late Melvin C. and Lottie M. (Kaltreider) Krebs. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she served on the Altar Guild for many years and was a Life Member of the Jefferson Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she helped with the PA Dutch Suppers and other events. She also obtained ads and arranged for the printing of the Jefferson Carnival Booklet for many years. She also enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. Treva is survived by two daughters, Ann E. Jackson and her husband Thomas of Berea, Ohio and Sharon M. Andrews and her husband Brad of York; a son, Steven L. Richey and his significant other Carolyn Able of Codorus and a step son, Harold E. Richey II, of Aspen Colo.; grandchildren, Evan and Cory Andrews, Robert, Aaron and Christopher Richey, a step grandson, Richard M.T. Jackson and a sister, Laura M. Baum of Codorus. She was predeceased by a sister, Miriam G. Glatfelter and four brothers, Curvin K. Krebs, Alton K. Krebs, George U. Krebs, and Russell K. Krebs.
