Stephen D Shearer " Pop Pop " of Manchester Pa passed away August 21st 2026.
Stephen leaves behind his daughter Erin Dick and her husband Charlie of West York Pa. Three grandchildren Victoria,Blake and Kalysta. His mother Ethelyn "Essie" Shearer of Spring Grove Pa. Sisters Deb Miller (Frank ) of New Freedom Pa. Donna Shearer of Glenville Pa , Barb Lengel (Randy ) of Schuylkill Haven Pa , Beverly Altland ( Gerard " Jerry " ) of Hanover Pa , Chris Dubs (Tony ) of Spring Grove Pa. Sister in laws, Nancy Ellis (Gary ) Diane Lehr (Mike Gladwin) Melissa Thompson (Karl), Ann O'Conner (Jim), Brother in Laws, Chris Lehr (Libby), Tom Lehr (Megan Baker). Stephen also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Stephen was proceeded in death by his beloved wife Patty Shearer as well as his father Elmer Shearer.
Stephen retired from Harley Davidson after 19 years. He volunteered at Harvest Consignment shop for many years more recently.
Steve had a great LOVE for life ! His kindness, patience and gentleness are what drew people to love him. Steve would drop everything to help anyone in need. He was greatly devoted to his family. Steve "Pop Pop" had a tremendous love for his grandchildren. He would spend hours with them sharing all that he could about life and stories from the past they could learn from.
Steve had a love for music and singing. Steve was part of the singing group "Friends in God" with his sisters and brother -in law. He had a great love for singing to his wife .
Steve enjoyed being with friends while they played role-playing games. Nascar was also a great love of Steve's.
Steve has left so many long-lasting memories and stories. He is now dancing and singing freely in heaven with his love Patty.
It was Stephens' wish to have a Celebration of Life. The family currently does not have a set date or time for that. That information will be shared later.
