Shirley L. Gallagher

On Friday, August 20, 2021, Shirley L. (Lancaster) Gallagher 78, of Glen Rock passed away at the York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Larry V. Gallagher for 58 years and 11 months. Shirley was a Christian woman who served the Lord all her life and enjoyed teaching Sunday School. She was born on August 13, 1943, in Huntingdon, PA to the late Edward V. and Virginia A. (Richard) Lancaster. She had worked for many years as an elementary school teacher. Shirley is survived by one son, Ronald and his wife, Lisa; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry just six days prior to her passing; her parents, two sisters, a brother, and one daughter, Arlene Miller. Services are private at the family's request.
