Ruth A. Bahn

On Sunday, July 26, 2026, Ruth A. (Ness) Bahn, 88, of Dallastown, passed away at Kingston Court Nursing and Rehabilitation in York. She was the devoted wife of Curtis M. Bahn, with whom she celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary on July 10. Ruth was born on March 23, 1938 in Springfield Township to the late Helen and Charles Ness.
Ruth worked for the former AMP, Inc. / Tyco, Inc. for 32 years before retiring. She was a member of Codorus Church, where she sang in the choir and the ladies trio. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the cabin in Juniata County; doing puzzles; word finds; going to church softball games; crocheting; making handmade ornaments for the grandchildren every year; having fun at Sunday night game night; but most importantly, spending time with her family.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Curt; three sons, Dennis Bahn and wife Beth Anne, Kenneth Bahn and wife Gale, and Duane Bahn and wife Linda; one sister, Janice Force and husband David; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and eight siblings, Blanche, Miriam, Laverne, Mahlon, Beatrice, Ray, Charles and Richard.
A public gathering will be held on Saturday, August 1, from 10:00am until a memorial service begins at 11:00am at Codorus Church, 1129 Dunkard Valley Rd., Dallastown, PA 17313.
