Rosalie Gaeckler

Rosalie Marie Gaeckler, 82, of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in Glen Rock. Born on July 25, 1943, Rosalie recently celebrated her 82nd birthday. She was a lifelong resident of Southern York County, retired from AMP Inc., and also worked part time at Brown's Orchards & Farm Market. Rosalie left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Rosalie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was a devoted fan of country music and NASCAR, and she loved spending time at the beach, visiting casinos, and cracking hard-shelled crabs with family and friends. Her spirited personality and sense of humor made her a cherished presence in every gathering.

She is survived by her children: Randy Gaeckler and his wife Elaine of Atlanta, GA, and Lisa Gaeckler Diehl and her husband Rick Diehl. Rosalie was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren-Joey Gaeckler, Nicholas Smith, Savannah Gaeckler, Austin Gaeckler, and Jackson Gaeckler-and a great-grandmother to three. She was preceded in death by her son Ricky Gaeckler, her mother, Marie (Aberts) Cox, and her father, Vance E. Cox.

At Rosalie's request, no formal memorial service has been planned. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Luna's House Animal Rescue (https://lunashouse.org/donate/ ) which is currently caring for Rosalie's beloved cat, Sophie. Contributions in her memory will help provide food, shelter, and veterinary care to animals in need.

Rosalie will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved and the memories she created.
