Richard L. Abrisch

Richard L. Abrisch, Jr. Hanover Richard L. Abrisch Jr. , 45, of Hanover, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of Terri L. (Sleeger) Abrisch. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Harvest Time Temple, 700 Black Rock Road, Hanover, with Rev. Fred Mummert, officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s (Dub’s) Church Cemetery, Hanover. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday at Harvest Time Temple. Rick was born on May 7, 1968 in Baltimore, a son of Richard L. Sr. and Shirley L. (Howard) Abrisch. He graduated from York Vo-Tech and went on to trade school at IBEW local 229, York, where he has been employed as an electrician for 25 years. Rick liked baseball, playing pool, fishing, and was a Redskins fan. He also was a member of the American Motorcycle Association. Besides his wife and parents he leaves a daughter, Cheyenne M. Abrisch of Glen Rock; a son Richard L. Abrisch III, a sister Amy L. Abrisch; a brother, Todd L. Abrisch and his wife Lorraine all of Hanover; many cousins, a niece, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends. Predeceased by his loving son William “Will” C. Abrisch. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, PA 17327 to help defray funeral services costs.
