Raymond Lee Wayland

Ray L. Wayland, 86, passed peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026, at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary L. (Enterline) Wayland to whom he was married 45 years.
Born May 5, 1939, in Brookville, Ray was the son of the late Frank and Jessie Wayland. Mr. Wayland worked as a computer programmer for Greater Baltimore Medical Center for over 40 years. He enjoyed bluegrass concerts, spending time outdoors and watching TV with his dogs. Ray is survived by one daughter, Michele L. Bradley and her husband, James of Milton, DE; one son, Michael L. Wayland and his wife, Jill of Sykesville, Md.; and three grandchildren, Valerie S. Wallace of Hedgesville, WV, Benjamin T. Wayland of Baltimore, MD, and William R. Wayland of Sykesville, MD. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Rachel Wayland and Phyllis (Wayland) Tennies and his brother Russell Wayland.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 12 at 11:00am at Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church Cemetery, 5890 Steltz Road, Glen Rock, PA 17327. Rev. John C. Dorr, Jr. will be officiating.
