Paul E. Innerst

Paul E. Innerst, Jr., 83, of York, died Saturday July 6, 2013 an Country Meadows of York. He was the husband of Anna C. (Hostetler) Innerst , with whom he celebrated a 62nd wedding anniversary April 24th. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday July 11, 2013 at Salem Lutheran Church, 99 York Road, Jacobus with Rev. D. Ray Hatcher, officiating. Burial will be in Salem Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church. Mr. Innerst was born August 3, 1929 in York, a son of the late Paul E. Sr. and Esther E. (Border) Innerst. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict having served as a Corporal with the 169th Infantry Regiment in Germany. He retired from York Graphic Services where he was employed as a Type Setter and prior to that had been a route driver milkman with Rutter’s Dairy for many years and he loved and was a devoted gardener. Besides his wife he leaves three children, Heidi Klementovich and her husband Daniel of Lancaster, Mark Innerst of Cape May NJ, and Andrew Innerst and his wife Virginia of Etters; three grandchildren, Rachael, Andrew and Audrey Innerst. He was predeceased by a sister Doretha Gentzler. Memorial contributions may be made to SPCA of York County, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
