On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, Patricia A. Smith, 67, of Glenville, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family after a long and courageous journey. Born to Shirley J. Tracy and the late Donald E. Tracy, Patricia lived a life defined by love, devotion, strength, and selflessness. She was the devoted wife and best friend of Randal A. Smith, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment.

Patricia was a 1977 graduate of South Western High School, where she participated in field hockey and cheerleading. Her love of cheering continued beyond her school years as she coached the Manheim Vikings cheerleaders, encouraging and mentoring young athletes. She later worked for Bookspan in Hanover before dedicating herself to what she cherished most-her family.

Known for her kind heart, patience, and nurturing spirit, Patricia spent many years caring not only for her own children but also for countless others through babysitting. She had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed, loved, and cared for. A member of the Society of Farm Women in Pennsylvania, Patricia enjoyed simple pleasures that brought her joy, including diamond art, cross-stitching, fishing, and working on puzzles.

Above all else, Patricia's greatest passion was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones. Some of her happiest memories were made on family camping trips to Codorus State Park and Poe Valley State Park, where laughter, stories, and togetherness created lasting memories. Her strength, generosity, and unconditional love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, Randal; her mother, Shirley; her three children, Andrew Smith and his wife, Lindsay, Adam Smith and his husband, William Doll, and Emily Myers and her fiancé, Zack Powers; her brothers, Richard Tracy and his wife, Donna, and David Tracy and his wife, Angela; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald E. Tracy, and a step-grandson.
