On Sunday, June 15, 2025, Michele (Laurent) Marchese, 78, of Glen Rock, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the loving wife to Larry T. Marchese for 54 years. Michele was born on December 2, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Marcel and Margaret (Lafferty) Laurent.
A Registered Nurse, Michele worked at York Hospital for over 20 years, where she managed various outpatient clinics and was also the Director of Rural Mobile Services. She was also very involved the the Arthur Hufnagel Library in Glen Rock, where she was former President and Board Member. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Michele is survived by her husband Larry; one daughter, Lila Marchese; two grandchildren, Arianna and Gabriella Marchese; and five siblings, Marcia, Maureen, Melinda, Mark and Michael.
