Marie E. Lytle

Marie E. Lytle Glen Rock Marie E. (Routson) Lytle, 87, of Glen Rock, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. She was the wife of Charles D. Lytle, with who she celebrated a 62nd wedding anniversary this past July 4th. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Glen Rock. There will be no viewing, a visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lytle was born on June 6, 1927 in Shrewsbury, a daughter of the late Sidney and Edna (Tyson) Routson. Marie was a homemaker and enjoyed doing puzzles, making fudge and traveling to casinos. She is survived by two daughters, Kay Taylor of Parkton, MD, Janet Cook of York; three sons, Leroy Kling of Glen Rock, Charles Lytle Jr. of York, and Larry Lytle of Windsor; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister Hilda Winemiller of Stewartstown, and two brothers Ralph Routson of York and George Routson of Glen Rock. She was predeceased by a daughter, Catherine E, Lytle. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
