Margaret Burdine

On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Margaret P. (Folkmann) Burdine, 82, passed away peacfully at the Pappus House in Thomasville. She was wife of the late Kenneth Burdine until his passing in 2013.

Margaret was born on July 10, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Svend and Victoria (Nickos) Folkmann. She was a wonderful mother, and a devoted homemaker to her family. She was very self sufficient, full of life, and enjoyed gardening, vacationing to Florida, and spending time with her family.

Margaret is survived by her four children, Lisa Duncan and husband Carl, Tina Martin, Angela Linthicum, and Derek Burdine; three siblings, Linda Musick, Butch Folkmann and wife Sasha, and Billy; three grandchildren, Kierstin Martin, Ben Linthicum, and Sophia Burdine; one great-grandchild, Chesney Mummert; and one former daughter-in-law, Stacey Burdine, who was like a daughter to her. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one brother, Henry Folkmann.

Following cremation, she will be entombed with her husband at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
