Louise J. Krebs

On Tuesday, March 16, 2021, Louise J. (Shearer) Krebs, 90, of Glen Rock, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Melvin A. Krebs, who passed away in 2009. Louise was born on October 16, 1930 in Codorus Township to the late Luke and Mabel (Bechtel) Shearer. She was a life-long member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Jefferson. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, taking care of her pets, and farm life in general, but her favorite hobby was playing Skip-Bo. She enjoyed game night on Sundays with the family. Louise is survived by one brother, Elmer Shearer; one sister, Mary Bruno; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A public viewing will be held on Saturday, March 20, from 10am until 11am at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Jefferson. Due to COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing are required inside the church. Her funeral service and interment will be private.
