On Thursday, June 4, 2026, Linda M. (Hengst) Sleeger-Williams, 78, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital. Linda was the wife of the late Eugene Sleeger and the late Wilson Williams. She was born on January 30, 1948, in York, to the late Beulah (Kline) and Charles Hengst, Jr. Linda graduated from Spring Grove High School then worked for Harley-Davidson until she retired.
in her spare time, Linda enjoyed going to their camp in Duck Neck, MD, where she enjoyed riding jet skis, boating and being on the water. She also enjoyed crabbing, fishing, light houses and playing BINGO. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her two daughters, Jodi Decca and husband Jim, and Terri Abrisch; one sister, Julie Shenberger and her significant other, Sonny King, Jr.; four grandchildren, James Decca, III, Kimberly Wood and husband Josh, Joshua Decca and fiancee Katrina Billet and Richard Abrisch, III and fiancee Kayla Poe; five great-grandchildren, Mara, Aiden, Adam, Keira and Zander; and one nephew Bobby Shenberger. She was preceded in death by her two husbands; parents; one grandchild, William Charles Abrisch; one son-in-law, Richard Abrisch, Jr.; and one brother, Charles Hengst, III.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, June 11, from 11:00am until a funeral service begins at 12:00pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, PA 17327. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the funeral home, at the address above, to help offset funeral expenses.
