Linda Mortorff

Our beautiful Mam, Linda Kay Bisker-Mortorff, passed away on September 24, 2026, at her granddaughter's home in York, Pennsylvania, after returning home on hospice care.

If you knew Mam, you knew she was one of a kind. She was loving, strong-willed, sassy, stubborn, and never afraid to be herself. She had a personality you couldn't forget and a way of making memories without even trying. Her family was her world, and being surrounded by the people she loved was where she was happiest.

Mam loved being crafty. She could spend hours crocheting, making jewelry, and creating things with her hands. And if you knew her well, you probably knew there was a good chance she had a cigarette in her hand and a Coca-Cola nearby. Those little things were just Mam-and somehow, we can't imagine them any other way.

Linda was the loving mother of Tiffany and her husband, Ted; Zachary and his wife, Crystal; and the late Shahonna Grove. She was a proud grandmother to Haley, Breanna, Aubree, Zachariah, Courtney, and Makenna.

We'll miss her laugh, her stories, her sass, her stubborn streak, her crafts, her Coca-Cola, and all those little moments that made her Mam. We'll miss being able to see her, talk to her, and just have her here.

Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort knowing that Mam is finally at peace and reunited with her daughter, Shahonna.
