Lanny Stermer

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Lanny H. Stermer, 66, of Stewartstown, passed away at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He was the companion of Sheila Utz for almost 29 years. He was born on August 14, 1958, in York, PA, to the late Harold and Ruth (McCullough) Stermer. He is survived by a sister, Diana Kistler; three nephews; and six great-nieces and nephews.

Lanny retired from Stewart Connectors after 38 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and enjoying his pool.

Following cremation, services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are recommended to the American Heart Association, 4250 Crums Mill Road, Ste. 100, Lancaster, PA 17112.
