It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kimberly Jean Young, of York, PA, who departed this life on September 8, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on June 4, 1965, at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, Kimberly was a loving mother, sister, and daughter, who devoted her life to caring for others.
A proud graduate of Susquehannock High School in 1983, Kimberly furthered her education at Shippensburg University before embarking on a successful career as an insurance agent, serving with dedication at Keller-Brown Insurance Services and several other firms throughout her career. Known for her compassion and her unwavering willingness to help those in need, she touched the lives of many during her professional journey.
Kimberly was a devout Christian whose faith guided her daily life. She found joy in watching Pastors Joyce Meyer and David Jeremiah, reflecting her commitment to her beliefs. A true lover of the outdoors, she cherished family camping trips during her childhood and enjoyed relaxing in the sun at the beach. As a single mother, Kimberly poured her love into her two sons, William and Elijah Kleinicke, and provided them with everything they needed, instilling values of kindness and perseverance.
