Kathryn graduated from Susquehannock High School followed by her attendance at Yorktowne taking up secretarial work. This allowed her to work at York Machinery and Supply for years before heading to Southern School District to work in the cafeteria for 32 years, retiring in 2009.
Kathryn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found joy in listening to Gospel Bluegrass on the radio or at concerts, watching her granddaughters play volleyball and basketball as a Warrior at Susquehannock, and going up to the mountains in Wellsboro PA to spend time with friends, along with going up to the cabins to talk and eat good food with her church friends. She also thoroughly enjoyed attending church and other events every Sunday at Codorus Brethren Church "A Light in the Valley" in her later years, and Shrewsbury Church of the Brethren at a younger age.
She will be deeply missed and all the memories that were shared with all her loved ones will be cherished forever.
