John Robert Connelly

On Friday, September 9, 2022, John R. Connelly, II, 69, of York passed away peacefully at home. He was the devoted husband of Betty Jane (Reever) Connelly for 44 years. He was born on April 25, 1953, in York, Genevieve (Waltermyer) Wagman and the late John R. Connelly. John graduated from York VoTech before joining the US Navy. He worked for Wagman Manufacturing for 38 years before he retired. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

John is survived by his wife, Betty Jane; mother, Genevieve and her husband Harold Wagman; two sons, John R. Connelly, III, and Jason Connelly and his wife, Christine; seven grandchildren, Brooke, Aubre, Aylissa, Ashley, Hannah, Kayla, and Nathan; one great-grandchild, Serenity; one brother, Mike Connelly and wife Teresa; one sister, Linda Flinchbaugh; and two step-brothers, Chris Wagman and wife Betsy, and Craig Wagman. He was preceded in death by his father, John Connelly and one brother-in-law, Steve Flinchbaugh.
