Jane A. Miller

On Thursday, August 12, 2021, Jane A. Miller, 90, fomerly of Red Lion, passed away while residing with her daughter, Ann and Son-in-law Art Herrold in Dallastown. She was born on July 16, 1931 in Red Lion to the late William and Beulah (Sheffer) Taylor. She was a graduate of Red Lion High School, then owned and operated Mellinger Shoe Store with her late husband, Clarence. She was also an Avon Representative for some time. Jane was a member of St. John's UCC in Red Lion, where she was active with the St. John's Seniors, a retired person's group of the church, for over 17 years and she served on the Call to Care Committee and Womens Fellowship of the church. She was also a member of the former Red Lion Concert Band Auxiliary, the Red Lion Historical Society and Red Lion AARP #1773. Jane is survived by two daughters, Ann Herrold and Beth Kochenour. Following cremation, a memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, August 22 from 2pm until a Celebration of Life begins at 3pm at St. John's United Church of Christ, 161 N. Main St., Red Lion, PA 17356.
