Jacob R. Bricker, Jr. 84, of SpiriTrust Lutheran Home, Shrewsbury, who was formerly of Red Lion and Glen Rock, died Thursday May 14, 2020 at the home. He was the husband of Mabel E. (Deitz) Snyder-Bricker of Shrewsbury and the late Gloria S. (Hoffman) Bricker. Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held at St. Jacob’s (Stone) Church Cemetery, Glenville. Jake was born on January 20, 1936 in Brodbecks, a son of the late Jacob R. Bricker Sr. and Maggie E. (Leinart) Bricker. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and had been self-employed as plumber, operating the Jacob R. Bricker and Son Plumbing and Heating in Red Lion for many years. He also leaves three daughters, Deborah A. Koons (Dave) of Raleigh NC, Shirley M. Kline (Robert) of Spring Grove and Lori A. Trostel (Craig) of Windsor, 10 Grandchildren, many Great Grandchildren and his first wife Betty L. Rudy of York. He was predeceased by a son Barry E. Bricker, Stepson David S. Knisley, and a grandson, Barry E. Bricker Jr. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
