On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, Harry N. Fourhman, 89, of York, passed away at Amoroso Wellness in York. He was born on May 10, 1936 in Codorus Twp, York County, and was the son of the late Mae (Miller) & Nevin Fourhman.
Harry was a graduate of Susquehannock High School class of 1954. He was a active member of Bethlehem Steltz Reformed church all his life. He served as Choir Director, sang on the choir for many years, was a member of the church council, Sunday School Superintendent and teacher.
Harry joined the Lineboro Volunteer Fire Dept. In 1956 and served as President, Secretary and Treasurer, worked at fundraisers and was inducted into the Carroll County Firemen's Association Hall of Fame in 2002. He was employed by Black & Decker, Hampstead for 45 years, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed working on his parent's farm and in his vegetable garden and restoration projects.
He is survived by a son, Eric Wayne Fourhman and his wife Erin, and a grandson Andrew Robert Fourhman of Glenville, PA; Also surviving are his sister, Romaine Miller and his brother, Rene Fourhman. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jane Louise (Warehime) who he married on June 26, 1955; his parents; and one sister, Gladys Wright.
Public viewing will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 10:00am until a funeral service begins at 11:00am at Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, 5890 Steltz Rd, Glen Rock, PA 17327. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are recommended to the church at the address above. Online condolences may be made at www.geiple.com.
