Gladys N. Ehrman Glen Rock Gladys N. (Stermer) Ehrman, 86, Glen Rock, died Friday December 6, 2013 at the Barbara J. Egan Nursing Center, Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late Charles C. “Bush” Ehrman. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Trinity United Church of Christ, 27 Manchester Street, Glen Rock, with her pastor, the Rev. John L. Trout, officiating, assisted by Pastor Thomas Beck of St. Peter’s Church, Seven Valleys. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There will be no viewing. A time of visitation and fellowship will be held following the service at the church. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main St. Glen Rock is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Ehrman was born on April 2, 1927 in Shrewsbury Township, the daughter of the late L. Allen and Elsie I. (Snyder) Stermer. She was employed as a seamstress at the Seven Valleys Garment Company for many years and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, where she had served on the Caring for Members Committee and belonged to an informal card club with other members of the church. Gladys, leaves a son, William A. “Bill” Ehrman and his wife Linda of Jacobus, two granddaughters, Amy L. Jones and her husband Norman, Krista E. Shorts and her husband Brian; five great grandchildren, Adan, & Allyson Jones, Kameron, Miley and Madden Shorts; and by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, C. Kenneth, Vernon E. and Millard Stermer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Barbara J. Egan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 200 Luther Road, Shrewsbury, PA 17361.
