Geraldine S. Wayne

Geraldine S. Wayne Shrewsbury Geraldine S. (Combs) Wayne, 84, who was formerly of Glen Rock, died Thursday April 2, 2015 at the SpiriTrust Lutheran Home, Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late Lester E. Wayne. Mrs. Wayne was born on April 7, 1930 in Falling Branch, Harford Co. Maryland and was a daughter of the late James and Edith V. Combs. She had worked at the former Charles G. Summers Canning Company in New Freedom for several years and was a life long resident of the Glen Rock area prior to moving to the home in 2014. She leaves her daughters, Jane Rineholt and Mary V. Wayne, both of Whiteford, MD, her sons, Tom Combs of Jersey Shore, PA, Lester E. Wayne of York, James Ed Wayne of Harrisburg, and William H. Riddle of Seven Valleys; 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, and two sisters and a brother. She was predeceased by a son Donald Wayne and a brother and two sisters. A funeral service and time of sharing for her family and friends will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. There will be no viewing and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Resident Activities Department at the Skilled Care Center for SpriiTrust Lutheran Village at Shrewsbury, 200 Luther Road, Shrewsbury, PA 17361.
