Gary Lee Miller

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gary Lee Miller, a cherished father, brother, uncle, and friend, who left us on September 14, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on August 13, 1953, in York, PA, Gary lived a life filled with dedication, passion, and warmth that touched all who knew him.

Gary was a proud graduate of Susquehannock High School, and he embraced a fulfilling career as a carpenter in construction. Through his work with GM Builders, he left a lasting mark on the homes and lives of the community, taking great pride in every project he completed.

Throughout his life, Gary exhibited an infectious zest for living. He found joy in fishing, attending races, and feeling the exhilaration of driving his beloved Corvette on long drives with the wind in his hair. Passionate about music, he shared his love for the guitar and found peace in nature, especially in the simple pleasures of bird watching that brought him delight. Above all, he cherished his daughter, Christe Hunsicker, with whom he created countless cherished memories.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Christe, and his two devoted sisters, Donna Rock and Deb Penn, along with her partner, Tracy. He will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews, who will miss his warmth and spirited presence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Betty (Black) Miller.

A Celebration to honor Gary's remarkable life will be held in the near future, allowing family and friends an opportunity to celebrate his legacy and share their memories. The family will notify loved ones of the specific date and details as they are arranged.
