Evelyn Mae Howdyshell

On Monday, August 2, 2021, Evelyn Mae (Barrett) Howdyshell, 86, of Finksburg, Maryland, passed away peacefully at her son's home in Glen Rock. She was the loving wife of the late James Howdyshell. Evelyn was born on March 13, 1935, in Elizabeth City County, Virginia, to the late Warren Edgar Barrett and Mary Crew (Johnson) Barrett Petterson. She is survived by her companion Lee Griffith of Finksburg, MD; three sons, James Howdyshell and his wife Sharon of Manchester, MD, Thomas Howdyshell and his wife Jacqueline of Glenville, PA, and Dennis Howdyshell and his wife Peggy of Glen Rock, PA; a daughter Darlene Mann and her husband John of Colorado; eight grandchildren; and eleven great- grandchildren. Following cremation, services will be private at the convenience of the family. Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. is assisting the family.
