Eugene D. King Glen Rock Eugene D. King, 86, of Glen Rock, died Saturday May 7, 2016 at SpiriTrust Lutheran Village, Shrewsbury. He was the husband of the Jacqueline D. (Spangler) King, The couple celebrated a 65th wedding anniversary this past December 30, 2015. . Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock with Pastor Jason Myers, officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. King was born on October 16, 1929 in Springvale, near Red Lion and was a son of the late Charles W. and Martha A. (Nicholas) King. He retired in 1994 as a Heavy Equipment Operator from Glenn E. Brenneman Builders and prior to that had worked for several other construction companies in the York area. After his retirement he drove cars for Pade Auto Auction in Strinestown for several years. Besides his wife, Eugene leaves a daughter, Debra Lee King of Mt. Vernon, Maine, two sons, Michael E. King of York and Timothy S. King of Manheim, PA.; and by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Vera E. Wallace and a brother Donald W. King.
