Eleanor Mae Swartz

On Monday, March 2, 2026, Eleanor M. (Michael) Swartz, 86, of Glenville, passed away peacefully with family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Donald C. Swartz, Sr. Eleanor was born on August 3, 1939 in Towson, MD to the late Viola Elizabeth (Sheeler) and Theodore Roosevelt Michael. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She is survived by her children, Kathleen D. Swartz Doll and husband Tim and Donald C. Swartz, Jr. and wife Karen; Joseph D. Woodring, who was like a son, and his wife Cherl; four grandchildren, Matthew E. Doll, Travis L. Swartz, Amanda D. Doll and Jenna N, Deardorff; three great-grandchildren, Calleigh L. Doll, Caleb H. Doll, and Blake L. Deardorff; In accordance with Eleanor's wishes, her services will be private.
