On Sunday, October 11, 2026, Delores "Debbie" Ann Sydor, age 68, passed away peacefully at Inners Creek Nursing and Rehab in Dallastown, Pennsylvania. Born on March 4, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles Brady and was lovingly raised by her foster parents, Harvey and Mae Kaltreider.

Delores is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Sydor, with whom she shared 28 years of marriage. She was previously married to Harlan Dehoff, who predeceased her in 1993. Delores was a dedicated homemaker, raising her daughters-Lisa Dehoff, Cindy Dehoff, and Buffy Rodland-with love and care. She is also survived by her sisters, Peggy Cooper and Betty Jean McCann, and was a proud grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Lydia Dehoff, Makenzie Rodland, and Nicole Hawley. She was preceded in death by her husband; father; foster parents; and one sister, Patricia Alston.

Delores was a graduate of North Carroll High School, Class of 1975. A passionate advocate for youth, she generously volunteered her time with the York County 4-H club, teaching sewing and cooking classes and actively contributing to the Lamb Club. Throughout her working years, she was employed in the cafeteria at Southern Middle School, served as Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree in Shrewsbury, and worked as a cashier at Giant in Shrewsbury.

Delores had a generous heart and enjoyed supporting organizations that were meaningful to her, including veterans' organizations, the Westminster, Maryland Police Department, and the Glen Rock Hose and Ladder Company. In her leisure time, she especially cherished going on cruises with Mike and enjoyed trips to Starbucks.
