David George Sharp

On Wednesday, July 15, 2026, David G. Sharp, 79, formerly of Loganville, passed away in Windsor, PA. He was the loving husband of the late Ida E.M. (Hall) Sharp for 37 years before her passing in 2012. David was born on July 4, 1947, in Spring Grove, to the late Raymond and Laura (Lentz) Sharp.
David was a graduate of Spring Grove High School before working at and retiring from, Caterpillar, Inc. for over 30 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on old cars, hunting, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
David is survived by 5 children, Rhonda Sharp, Lisa Carney, Angela Decker, Brian Sharp and Michael Sharp; three sisters; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and four siblings.
Public viewing will be held on Thursday, July 23, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again on Friday, July 24, from 10:00 am until a funeral service begins at 11:00 am, all being held at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock.
