David Leroy Shade

Son Thursday, December 26, 2024, David Leroy Shade, 77, of Glen Rock passed away suddenly at home. He was the devoted husband of Tracy A. (Zanti) Shade for 35 years.

Born on May 19, 1947 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Leroy and Dorothy (Brenneman) Shade. David worked for Entenmann's Bakery as a truck route sales driver for many years until he retired. He was a devout Seventh Day Adventist, and would attend services every Saturday. David was a part of the Grow Mission in Westminster, MD where they would have clothes drives for, and feed, the homeless. He was a devoted family man, who took pride in taking care of his wife, kids and entire family.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy; five children, Jason Shade, Angela Bosley, Somer Shade, Dera Shade, and Maggie Shade; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Phyllis Miller.
