Clair E. Mosebrook Hanover Clair E. Mosebrook, 90, of Hanover, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of Pauline M. (Amspacher) Mosebrook, with whom he celebrated a 67th wedding anniversary on February 16th. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday July 23, 2013 at Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Drive, Hanover, with Pastor Jerry Shoap, officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Church. Mr. Mosebrook was born on July 10, 1923 in Codorus Township, a son of the late William B. and Agnes (Bortner) Mosebrook. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and retired in 1987 from the Hanover Hospital where he was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor, following 25 years of employment. He was a member of the Hanover First Church of God, the Harold H. Bair American Legion Post #14, Hanover and the PA Dutch Heritage Group, Dover. Clair also leaves a daughter, Gladys Matthias and her husband Leroy of Hanover, three sons, Ken Mosebrook and his wife Julie of Abbottstown, Craig Mosebrook and his wife Cindy of Abbottstown and Dwight Mosebrook of East Berlin; by three grandchildren, Tina Matthias, Daniel Matthias and Joel Mosebrook; five great grand children; a sister, Mary Wildasin of Seven Valleys, and two brothers, Lester Mosebrook of Ontario CA, and Levi Mosebrook of York. He was preceded in death by two bothers and three sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Drive, Hanover, PA 17331.
