On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Cheyenne Dalia Nycz, 25, passed away unexpectedly at home. She was born on April 6, 2000, in York, to her devoted mother Karen Nycz. Cheyenne was a 2019 graduate of Susquehannock High School, then earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2023 from Pennsylvania College of Art & Design. Until her passing she was employed by Saubel's Markets in Shrewsbury, where she assisted in the bakery department. She was an exceptional artist and would display her artwork at several shows and exhibits. She also enjoyed anime; doing puzzles; reading manga and eating a wide variety of foods--at the same time. Cheyenne enjoyed family time; vacations to the beach, holiday get-togethers and playing games. She was also great role model for the neighborhood children.
She is survived by her mother, Karen; grandmother, Dee Nycz; her aunt Renee Larkin and husband Bill; her uncle John Nycz, Jr. and wife Joanne; her cousins, Cullen, Emily and Christopher; and her special aunts/cousins, Dawn and Abby. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, John Nycz, Sr.
Public viewings will be held on Wednesday, March 18, from 2-4pm and 6-9pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, PA 17327 and again on Thursday, March 19, from 10am until the Funeral Liturgy begins at 11am, at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom, PA 17349. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Online condolences may be made under Share a Memory on this page.
