Betty F. Harvison

Betty F. (Fielder) Harvison, 78, of York, died Thursday November 5, 2020 at her home. She was the wife of Robert G. Harvison. The couple would have been be married for 60 years on this coming December 31st. All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Betty was born in Sparks, MD, a daughter of the late Richard Blaine “Dick” and Alice (Wingler) Fielder. She was employed as the head of the Kitchen at the former Barley’s North Nursing Home and had worked as the head of the cafeteria at Penn State York. Prior to that she had worked as a machine operator at Black & Decker in Hampstead Maryland and for AMP, Inc. at the former Junior Street Plant. Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Tracie Kerfoot (Steve) of Stewartstown, Kari Frey (John) of York and Lori Wintermyer (Larry) of Henderson NV; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and a sister Carol McKee of Sparks, MD. She was predeceased by a sister Helen Lytle. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
