On Sunday, June 26, 2022, Alverta M. (Klinedinst) Kiser, 99, of Glen Rock passed away at The Gardens of Gettysburg. She was the loving wife of the late Clyde L. Kiser, who passed in 1991. Alverta was born on December 12, 1922 in Shrewsbury Township to the late Joshua G. and Cora M. (Sechrist) Klinedinst. She worked for AMP, Inc. for 42 years before retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Paul's UCC in Shrewsbury. In her spare time, Alverta enjoyed traveling, and had been to all 50 states and Canada. She also enjoyed doing word searches, sewing, and knitting. Alverta is survived by her son, Robert L. Badders, Jr. and his wife, Deanna; one granddaughter, Kimberly Kuster; one great-grandson, James Toy; and two nephews, Ronald and Gary Klinedinst. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one brother, Harold Klinedinst. Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 5 from 12 PM until a funeral service begins at 1 PM at St. Paul's UCC, 161 S. Main St., Shrewbury, PA 17361. Interment will follow in Joseph Giesey Memorial Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Pastor Martha Boyer will officiate. Online condolences may be made at www.geiple.com.
