Alicia Ann Erwin, 66, of La Plume, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 6, 2026, in York, Pennsylvania.
Born on September 25, 1959, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Alicia was the daughter of the late Stanley B. Sydlosky and Alice (Hayduk) Sydlosky. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Stanley B. Sydlosky Jr.
Alicia was a proud graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School, Class of 1977. Throughout her life, she built a career marked by hard work and dedication. She worked for Procter & Gamble as a forklift driver, served as a Regional Manager for Cracker Barrel, and later devoted much of her life to caring for others through various caregiving roles. Even while facing her own personal and medical challenges, Alicia remained committed to helping those around her and was actively pursuing certifications to better serve residents in nursing homes.
Alicia's wealth was never measured in dollars, but in the love, compassion, faith, and generosity she shared with others. Despite facing many challenges throughout her life, she devoted herself to raising her children and providing them with the support, guidance, and unconditional love they needed. She was the kind of mother who always made sure you had a good meal to eat, gas in your vehicle, and knew that you were loved.
Her faith in God was the foundation of her life. Alicia cherished her Bible and spent countless hours in prayer, lifting up not only her family but also friends, neighbors, and anyone she believed needed comfort or guidance.
Alicia found joy in life's simple blessings. She loved collecting angels, spending time in the mountains, enjoying the outdoors, watching wildlife, riding ATVs on trails, playing bingo and card games, and helping others whenever she could. She had a special place in her heart for cats and kittens and devoted countless hours throughout her life to their care and well-being.
