Tim Meckley

On Thursday, March 9, 2023, Tim R. Meckley, 62, passed away peacefully at home. Born on September 7, 1960 in York, he was the son of the late Betty Jane (Walker) Meckley and Clark E. Meckley, Sr.

Tim graduated from Spring Grove High School, then attended York Technical Institute, where he received his Computer Aided Draftsman (CAD) License. He went on to work for RK&K Engineering, based in York, his entire career. In his younger years, Tim was an outstanding golfer, winning several club championships and setting course records at Bonnair Country Club. He also won the Richmond Open in 2002. His real passion was riding motorcycles. He was a member of the Chesapeake, MD and Harrisburg, PA Harley Owners Group (HOG) Chapters, and was a member of the Iron Butt Club, where he rode over 1,000 miles in 24 hours.

Tim is survived by his two brothers, Clark "Bud" Meckley, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann, and Marty Meckley.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 15 from 5pm until a funeral service begins at 7pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock.
