Ruby V. Gottheld Glen Rock Ruby V. (McNeil) Gottheld, 95, of Glen Rock, who was formerly of Ellicott City, Maryland, died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, York. She was the wife of the late John D. Gottheld. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM. Thursday at Meadowridge Memorial Park. 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075, with Rev. Jen Eschliman, pastor of Glen Mar United Methodist Church, Ellicott City, officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. Mrs. Gottheld was born December 24, 1918 in Purlear N.C. and was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Fairie Bonnie (Huffman) McNeil. She was employed as a Benefits Clerk for the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Glen Mar United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter; Barbara J. Vain and her husband Ronald of Glen Rock, three grandchildren, Deborah Dehoff, Ronald M Vain Jr. and Daniel E. Vain, seven great grandchildren, Donald Ferguson, Terra Lyn Dehoff, Tyler Dehoff, Derrick Vain, Christopher Vain, Austin Shay, and Bryton Vain, and by her sister, Aline M. Cheatwood of Winston Salem, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
