Dana E. Doll

Dana E. Doll Glen Rock Dana E. Doll, 47, of Glen Rock, died Monday August 11, 2014 at York Hospital following a farming accident. He was the husband of Leslie R. (Kopp) Doll with whom he celebrated a 19th Wedding Anniversary on April 8th. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday August 16, 2014 at St. Paul's (Dub's) UCC Church, 1958 Dub's Church Road, Hanover, with Rev. Larry M. Estepp and Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Friday and from 9:45 to 10:45 AM Saturday at St. Paul's (Dub's) Church, 1958 Dub's Church Road, Hanover. Dana was born on August 14, 1966 in York, a son of Dale E. and Darla L. (Myers) Doll of Glen Rock. He graduated in 1984 from South Western High School, Hanover, where he was on the varsity wrestling team and Basket Ball Team. He currently worked for and was Manager of his family operated farm, Dar-Dale Farms Dairy, in Manheim Township. Dana also was a sports enthusiast, having played for and managed the Dar-Dale Farm team in the Glen Rock Slow Pitch Softball League. He also was a former Coach for the South Western Stallions Youth League, and enjoyed watching his boys play ball and wrestle. He was a member of the McSherrystown Home Association, the PA Holsteins Association, and showed Dairy Cows. He was a former member of the Republican Club, Hanover and the South West 4-H Dairy Club. Besides his wife and parents, Dana also leaves, three sons, Aaron M. Doll, Benjamin E. Doll and Kasey A. Doll all of Glen Rock, three sisters, Downa L. Weaver and her husband Jon of Glen Rock, Dixie L. Lucabaugh and her husband Ben of Glenville, and Daphne A. Lang and husband Andy of Glen Rock. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John and Florence Doll and his maternal grandparents, Elmer and Treva Myers.
