Earl E. Warner, 81, of Normadie Ridge, York, who was formerly of Glen Rock, died Friday, July 9, 2010 at the home. He was the husband of Cornelia K. (Rohrbaugh) Warner, with who he celebrated a 43rd wedding anniversary this past June 18th.
         Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at St. Jacob’s Stone Church, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, with his pastor the Rev. Jason Leader officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.  A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday at the church.  The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock is in charge of the arrangements.
         Mr. Warner was born on August 16, 1928 in Glen Rock, a son of the late George and Maggie J. (Anstine) Warner.
        He retired in 1990 after 41 years of employment as a Supervisor of Engineering with WBAL-TV Channel 11 in Baltimore. He had also been self employed in the recording business, recording many concerts and musical events in the York County area.  At age 16 he began working as a movie projectionist at the Glen Theatre in Glen Rock and also was did the same at the Dallas Theatre in Dallastown and other theatres in the York area, during his younger years.
He was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregation of St. Jacob’s (Stone) Church, where he had taught the Adult and Senior High Sunday School Classes.  He was a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers and had an operator license for General Radio and Telephone issued by the FCC and he was a member and served at one time on the Board of the York Junior Symphony and the York Youth Symphony.
         Besides his wife, Earl is also survived by a daughter, Melody A. Schaefer of York, and nieces and nephews.
         In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Jacob’s United Church of Christ, 5154 Stone Church Road, Glenville, PA. 17329.
