Myrtle L. (Dise) Amspacher, 92, of the Shrewsbury Lutheran Home, who was formerly of Glen Rock, died Sunday July 4, 2010 at the home.  She was the wife  of the late Monroe W. “Pete” Amspacher.
         Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, with her pastor the Rev. Raymond B. Good, officiating.  Burial will be in New Hope “Fissel’s” Church Cemetery.   A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
          Born on November 27, 1917 in Shrewsbury Township, she was a daughter of the late William O. and Vernie L. (Amspacher) Dise.
          She was a member of New Hope “Fissel’s” United Church of Christ, Glen Rock, where she had taught the 1st and 2nd grade class of the Sunday School for many years.  She enjoyed gardening and making flower arrangements for people and had entered arrangements in several local flower shows.
          She is survived by a daughter, Gaile C. Ambrosius and her husband David of Spring Grove. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jennifer Nielsen.
