Jeannette H. (Hall) Warner, 82, of Glen Rock, PA, (near Lineboro, MD), died of natural causes, Monday June 28, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of the late Clarence F. “John” Warner.
The family is honoring Jeannette’s wish to be cremated, following which a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 AM Friday July 2, 2010 at Lazarus United Church of Christ, 5010 S. Church Street, Lineboro, MD. Burial will be in Lineboro Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Friday at the Church. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, PA is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Warner was born on September 3, 1927 in Temperanceville, VA, a daughter of the late Andrew T. and Minnie (Bloxom) Hall.
She graduated from the University of Maryland, with her nursing degree and had done graduate studies at Duke University. She retired from Carroll County General Hospital in 1993 where she was the Head Nurse in charge of the Operating Rooms at the hospital for over 15 years.
She was a member of Lazarus United Church of Christ in Lineboro and was a member and Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lineboro Fire Department and was a member of AORN, The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses. She also had assisted with the operations of the family farm in Manheim Township, near Lineboro.
Jeannette leaves a daughter, Rebecca W. Krebs and her husband John of Lineboro; two sons, Thomas H. Warner and his wife Betsy of Glen Rock, PA and Claude F. Warner and his wife Helen of Lineboro; Seven grandchildren, Tyler H. Warner, Andrew W. Warner, Jenna M. Krebs, John L. Krebs V, Kimberly Swam, Kristi Yealy and Donna Brown; and a great grandson, Rylan Z. Warner.
