Beverly G. (Gilmore) Price, 79, of York, formerly of Largo FL, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Country Meadows of Leader Heights, following a brief illness.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, June 23, 2010 at The Chapel on the 3rd Floor of Country Meadows of Leader Heights, 2760 Pine Grove Road York, Pa, with Rev. David J. Robson, officiating. There will be no viewing and burial will be at the convenience of the family. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Ms. Price was born on January 4, 1931, in Dumont, NJ, a daughter of late Rudolph A. and Marie (Roche) Gilmore.
She was an Administrative Assistant for many years, retiring in 1998 from Lockheed Martin Corp.
Ms. Price was a member of Pasadena Community Church of St. Petersburg, FL. She was an accomplished artist who also loved gardening.
Mrs. Price will be dearly missed by her 5 daughters: Shelley Kope, of York, Allyson Stegmann, of Gaithersburg, MD, Meredith McEvoy, of Jacobus, Andrea Kinneman, of York, and Melissa DeRosa of Buena Park, CA, 5 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter, a brother Rodney Gilmore, of GA, and two sisters, Marie Nickerson, of Al, and Janet Castner, of FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to York Health Foundation, Cancer Patient Help Fund 912 S. George Street, York, PA 17403.
