Virginia M. Williams Hanover
Virginia M. (Cramer) Williams, 83, of Hanover, died Tuesday July 27, 2010 at her home, following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Paul C. Williams. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM August 1, 2010, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 127 York Street, Hanover, with her pastors the Rev. Christina Minnich and Rev. Jack Hoffman, officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacobs (Stone) Church Cemetery, Glenville. A visitation will be held from 12 noon to 2:00 PM Sunday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, PA. Mrs. Williams was born on July 3, 1927 in Glenville, a daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Alice M. (Thoman) Cramer. She was a 1944 graduate of the former Codorus Township High School and was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Hanover. Mrs. Williams leaves a daughter, Paula Miller and her husband Jeff of Culpeper, VA; four sons, Tim Williams and his wife Beth of Eagleville, PA, Lee Williams, of Philadelphia, Ted Williams and his wife Dorothy Mara, of Pittsfield, MA, and Mark Williams of Hanover, five grandchildren, Meghan, Kyle, Nathan, Andrew, and Bridget, a sister, Henrietta J. Krenzer of Orange, VA, and a brother Robert D. Cramer of Hanover. She was preceded in death by an infant son and a brother Lawrence Cramer. The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 127 York Street, Hanover, PA 17331 or to VNA Hospice of Hanover, 440 N. Madison St., Hanover, PA 17317. Mrs. Williams loved her church, her family, her friends and her life.
